Eric Pleska formed the garage hardcore band Bed Of Nailz in the summer of 2001 with old White Plains High School friends, drummer Ed Massena and guitarist Carlos Torres. The trio of 20-year-olds recorded an album, "I Had Sex In New Jersey This Morning", later that summer at Prime Time Studios in Pelham, NY.

That Fall, Dan Paprocki, Tomislav, and Mike Conklin joined the band after Carlos and Ed returned to college out of the area. The new lineup performed live shows in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, in addition to releasing several albums and various merchandise.

A new compilation album, "Early 2000's Suburban Hardcore," is now available on various streaming services, including Amazon Music, Pandora, Apple Music, and iTunes.
